He arrived…

And bought PRESENTS!

SQUEEE HEE HEEEE!!!

It amuses him how easy I am to please, hehe.
Turns out I was at the wrong terminal
He texted me when he was in the baggage hall so I had to quickly throw all of my bags (large bag containing assorted normal clothing, a couple of rather-flambouyant-but-will-have-to-do emergency conference wife outfits, and a collection of rather heavy travel guides, PLUS my computer bag, my camera bag, and a dolly hauler containing all the blythes, 2 moofs, 2 boyz and Joyce, my peteena, plus changes of dolly clothes) onto a rickety luggage cart and sprint through the underground tunnels to the other side of the aiport. PHWOOO. But I made it *just* in time.
And yes, all the girls came with me in the end. I just didn’t have the heart to pick

**GASP** .. HH !!! You lucky, lucky girl, she looks beautiful!! I hope she’ll have a harvesty name, like, erm, Barley? Or Wheaten … or something …
And how marvellous that you have your husband back in your clutches, that’s brilliant! Have a luverly time in Scotland, I must get there someday as my People come from there (the Dewars of the whiskey fame - if you see a bottle, do have a glass for me! Hee hee …)
his smile in the first pic is just priceless.. says it all !
and you already know how i feel about HH you lucky girl.
OHMYWORD she’s a beauty. One of the prettiest in my opinion (but *all* my girls are pretty of course). She feels a bit 70s and retro, but there’s something really rather haunting about her, she’s completely captivating. I really can’t stop looking at her.
Hoo Melissa, you’re Scottish too?! I’m part Scottish as well- descended from the Lows who all ended up in Dunedin before trickling back to the UK for various reasons. And wow, you’re from whisky, that’s the uber coolest things ever. I’ll have to look up to see where the distillery is to see if it’s in our path of travels. EEPS! I’ll raise a glass if we get there
That doll is too cute!
I spy a second present which your girl is sat atop…
Good gracious, could he be any more wonderful?!? I love the smile on his face too!
Melissa, you should definitely visit Scotland - it’s beautiful! (As I’m sure we will see in Nin’s photos, soon!) We had a clan reunion there a few years ago (Mom’s side is Scottish) and it turns out that our clan even has a town named after them - Moffat, Scotland. Grandad drove us around and showed us where great-great-great-grandparents lived, etc., and it was really neat.
Oh, and ditto to Fliss - what’s that Nikon box she’s resting on after long journey?
So nice that you got such lovely gifts. She is beautiful!
[...] morning after the drive. So as soon as we’d finished our coffee and I’d been given some rather lovely gifts (having a long distance marriage CERTAINLY has its perks), we headed straight to the rental car [...]
